Les lampions se sont éteints sur le 8ème Congrès Extraordinaire du Pdci-Rda qui s’est tenu le vendredi 22
décembre dernier à la Fondation Félix Houphouët-Boigny de Yamoussoukro. Et cette échéance s’est soldée
par la victoire éclatante du ministre Tidiane Thiam qui succède ainsi au président Henri Konan Bédié rappelé
à Dieu, il y a quelques mois. Juste après son élection, le nouveau président du Pdci-Rda Tidiane Thiam s’est
rendu à Zahakro dans la sous-préfecture de Toumodi pour une visite familiale qui s’est élargie à l’ensemble de
ses sympathisants et surtout des militants du parti doyen qui ont savouré la victoire du petit fils d’Houphouët
Boigny. Il faut signaler que Zahakro est le village natal de Camille Alliali très proche du président Félix
Houphouët Boigny. Les cadres présents à cette cérémonie sobre et conviviale étaient conduits par le ministre
Allah Kouadio Rémi vice-président du Pdci-Rda. L’on peut citer le maire de Toumodi Idrissa Kone, le député de
Toumodi commune Hervé Alliali, le président du Conseil Régional du Bélier Raymond Konan, le délégué Pdci-
Rda de Toumodi commune Ange Félix N’dakpri, l’inspectrice du Pdci-Rda Tchina Simone et le président de
l’ONG Alerte Conflit le mémorialiste Frédéric Tanoh-Niangoin. Il est juste de mentionner aussi la mobilisation
remarquable des chefs traditionnels et des guides religieux. Les jeunes et les femmes qui n’ont pas voulu se
faire raconter ce moment unique ont fait le déplacement de Zahakro. Si le maire Idrissa Koné visiblement
heureux s’est réjoui de cette visite de Tidiane Thiam, il ne s’est pas empêché de déclarer ce qui suit: » Tout
ce qui commence par Toumodi réussit toujours. » Le vice-président du parti Allah Kouadio Rémi est intervenu
pour dire que: » Aujourd’hui nous sommes très heureux parce que juste après avoir été élu, vous arrivez ici
à Zahakro. Tout Toumodi est fier de votre arrivée ici à Zahakro. Toumodi sera toujours avec vous. » Prenant
la parole, le président Tidiane Thiam a fait une déclaration brève et concise: » Je me sens ici en famille.
Mon père le ministre Amadou Thiam et le ministre d’Etat Camille Alliali étaient très proches. C’est le même
lien qui existe entre mon frère Hervé Alliali et moi-même. Je suis au Pdci-Rda, je serai toujours au Pdci-Rda
et le Pdci-Rda vaincra. C’est le Pdci-Rda qui a fondé la Côte d’Ivoire. Moi, j’ai une mission, c’est de ramener
la Côte d’Ivoire sur le droit chemin. » C’est dans la liesse populaire que le nouveau président du Pdci-Rda
Tidiane Thiam a pris congé de ses hôtes.
